Stayed here during our motorcycle trip to Mannar to snap some photos of flamingos and migratory birds, and honestly, it was a great find. The place is brand new, super clean, and the rooms are really spacious with solid, good-quality furniture — nothing cheap or flimsy. There’s a chill shared space with a well-equipped kitchen if you feel like cooking or making yourself a tea or coffee, and a comfy little lobby with sofas where you can hang out and chat with other travelers. Ended up meeting folks from Germany, Italy, France, and the US — really cool mix of people. The house runs on solar power, which I loved — eco-friendly without making a fuss about it. The owners are genuinely lovely people, running the place in a fair and honest way. It’s got that rare combo of comfort and community. Would definitely stay here again.

The Sanctum tiene una alberca al aire libre, jardín, una zona de playa privada y restaurante en Talaimannar. The breakfast and dinner were excellent. The swimming pool was lovely too. The owner was so incredibly helpful, he could not do enough to make our stay informative and enjoyable. I would definitely recommend The Sanctum.

The lady at check in was really friendly and showed us around. She was accomodating the rooms were very clean and we were able to organise transport to see Keeri beach from the hotel itself. They have a restaurant that gave us room service even though they don’t usually offer that.

Ran by a wonderful family: this organization is working on mending the relationship between donkey and human. We stayed at the donkey clinic for a couple nights and got to know the impact of this place. We highly recommend you come stay at the clinic or at least come for a proper tour and get to know the donkeys and the people behind the project. The Palmyrah House tiene un gimnasio, jardín, un salón compartido y terraza en Mannar. Everything. The individual chalets are so beautifully done. Very spacious and gives you absolute privacy. Meals were simple but delicious and the small staff are very friendly and helpful. Such a great place to relax. Gem of a hotel.
