The family was incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to help us: sharing honest tips about what to visit in Anuradhapura, organising a half-day safari, and arranging transport with fair prices. But what makes this place truly special is their story. They started with just one room about 10 years ago and gradually grew to eleven, without ever raising their prices for food or accommodation. Hands down, this was the best quality stay and food I had in Sri Lanka so far.

This beautiful place was so peaceful, the room was the most comfortable room we stayed in sri lanka, the breakfast was delicious and the room even had a tv with Netflix and other streaming service. The place was amazing!!!!

I loved the friendliness and helpfulness of the host and his family. He was able to help us arrange transportation to/from the guesthouse and also the safari jeep. The location is very quiet despite being by the main road. It’s located some distance from the safari but still relatively close by. we managed to see the elephant and even a leopard! The room itself was clean and well planned, all the basic amenities were provided for us.

Kaala Kalaththewa Luxury Eco Resort fornece acomodação com piscina ao ar livre, estacionamento privativo grátis, jardim e terraço em Anuradhapura. Attikulama Tank fica a 6 km de distância. It was exceptional. The staff was professional and attentive and made us feel very welcome. The whole resort was clean, spacious and beautifully designed. It's located in a small forest with butterflies, pheasants, a variety of wild birds and cute chickens. You can take a walk, play badminton, go to the nearby lake or visit the temples in anuradhapura or mihintale - it's very close. The hosts can arrange tours as well - we went to Anuradhapura with a guide and it was very fun and a fair price. Also the food: try the Sri Lankan breakfast it's delicious! We loved the tree house - it was so relaxing when it was rainy. They even offered room service. :) long story short - a must stay. Ps: please note that there is nature around. It's a tree house in a jungle-like forest. There are occasionally frogs and other visitors on your terrace. We loved it though.

The owner and his son were taking care of us all the time and organized a great safari! It was a full day trip at a very affordable price, We managed to see 3 leopards, bear, elefant, crocodiles, tones of deers, and many, many other species of mammals, reptiles and birds. At night we could hear a lot of animals and it was an extremely peaceful time. The food was delicious and made with love. Absolutely recommended place!
