I stayed in one of the budget rooms, which were surprisingly spacious, spotlessly clean, and quietly tucked away in the back garden; perfect for a calm night’s sleep. The food (both breakfast and dinner) was to die for. All home-cooked by the grandmother with so much love and flavour. The family was incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to help us: sharing honest tips about what to visit in Anuradhapura, organising a half-day safari, and arranging transport with fair prices. But what makes this place truly special is their story. They started with just one room about 10 years ago and gradually grew to eleven, without ever raising their prices for food or accommodation. Hands down, this was the best quality stay and food I had in Sri Lanka so far.

Fresh, delicious, and thoughtfully prepared – the perfect way to start your day. In short: a personal and welcoming place, run with heart. You leave with a smile and a strong desire to return.

Situado en Pahala Maragahawewa, dentro de una distancia de 33 km de Kumbichchan Kulama Tank y a 33 km de Jaya Sri Maha Bodhi, Wilpattu Restaurant & Guest house cuenta con hospedaje con un jardín y... I loved the friendliness and helpfulness of the host and his family. He was able to help us arrange transportation to/from the guesthouse and also the safari jeep. The location is very quiet despite being by the main road. It’s located some distance from the safari but still relatively close by. we managed to see the elephant and even a leopard! The room itself was clean and well planned, all the basic amenities were provided for us.

Wonderful stay with Gihan and Dinu! We stayed twice for a total of 7 nights. A wonderful, authentic experience in Sri Lanka. They are extremely kind and welcoming. They speak English very well, and we were able to take the time to ask questions and discuss many topics such as culture, sports, politics, food, customs, etc. This allowed us to better understand this country. They truly care about their guests, making sure we have everything we need and giving great tips for visiting the city and its surroundings. They offer breakfast, lunch, and dinner if needed (we recommend trying it at least once because it's delicious). We did the cooking program, which involves buying ingredients at the market and then cooking together. It was great to see all the flavors they add to the dishes we enjoyed afterwards. They know a contact for a safari in Wilpattu National Park and can help organize it. Regarding the accommodation, it's located on a very quiet alley. There's a kitchen available and a pleasant terrace overlooking the small garden. The rooms are well-equipped and pleasant. We recommend a stay here for a wonderful human experience. Ubicado en Anuradhapura, a 6 km de Attikulama Tank, Kaala Kalaththewa Luxury Eco Resort tiene hospedaje con una alberca al aire libre, estacionamiento privado de cortesía, un jardín y una terraza. It was exceptional. The staff was professional and attentive and made us feel very welcome. The whole resort was clean, spacious and beautifully designed. It's located in a small forest with butterflies, pheasants, a variety of wild birds and cute chickens. You can take a walk, play badminton, go to the nearby lake or visit the temples in anuradhapura or mihintale - it's very close. The hosts can arrange tours as well - we went to Anuradhapura with a guide and it was very fun and a fair price. Also the food: try the Sri Lankan breakfast it's delicious! We loved the tree house - it was so relaxing when it was rainy. They even offered room service. :) long story short - a must stay. Ps: please note that there is nature around. It's a tree house in a jungle-like forest. There are occasionally frogs and other visitors on your terrace. We loved it though.

Increible experiencia en Chill House Hotel. Alargamos una noche más “just chill”. Se está fenomenal y el lugar es precioso. Tiene bicicletas de alquiler para pasear por alrededores. “Jofsi” fue encantador y nos ayudó en todo. Sin duda, recomendamos 100%

Convenientemente establecido en el centro de Anuradhapura, Emerald Home Stay ofrece vista al jardín y una terraza. The room was amazing and very neat. It looked like a proper hotel room but at the same time the place had the welcoming ambiance of a homestay due to its lovely owners. They made a breakfast which was the best we have had! So definitely 10/10 recommend!

MONI FARM HOUSE WILPATTU cuenta con hospedaje climatizadas en Nochchiyagama. Hay una terraza y sus huéspedes pueden hacer uso del WiFi gratis y estacionamiento privado de cortesía. Las habitaciones son enormes, nuevas y con un porche a un jardín, el trato fue encantador, la comida muy rica y la ayuda al organizar el safari fueron de 10, volvería sin lugar a duda.

Ofreciendo bicis gratuitas, jardín y WiFi gratis, Wilpattu Mookalan Resort está establecido en Habawewa, a 39 km de Kumbichchan Kulama Tank y a 39 km de Jaya Sri Maha Bodhi. La amabilidad de toda la familia es espectacular. Se preocupan por todo. Ubicación fantástica pues está a las puertas del PN Wilpattu. Cena muy abundante, hay que decirle que ponga menos para no tirar comida, pero estaba riquísima.
