We hired a motorbike to go to Wat Phou and got a ferry from the hotel’s jetty across the river to catch the Green paradise bus to Si Phan Don. The staff were superbly helpful.

The view of the Mekong is spectacular, the grounds are beautifully maintained and full of butterflies, and the rooms are very comfortable. Delicious food, too, and two gorgeous swimming pools. The staff members are super helpful and really keen for you to enjoy the Champasak region. The hotel arranged trips for us, and we were also able to take bike rides in the local area using the hotel's bikes. My favourite place in what is a beautiful country. I would definitely like to visit again. Highly recommended.
