We headed to Heidi for a night stay after 2 days of snow activities at Vivaldi Park . It was very nice of Mr Lee to pick us from our Vivaldi Park accommodation to Heidi. However, due to the extreme snowfall on that particular day, the typical 20 min to-and-fro drive became 3 hours in total for Mr Lee but he was patient and at all smiles throughout. Mr Lee also sent us to a nearby supermarket later in the day to buy some food for our BBQ. Heidi itself is a lodge-like accommodation which provided urbanites like us a whole different experience . The room was clean, spacious, warmly heated with a little kitchenette. We especially enjoyed the warm hospitality of the owners (Mr and Mrs Lee), the BBQ over brick-stove and charcoal as well as having our meals in the naturally firewood heated dining place . Thank you for sharing with us your lovely homemade Kimchi and drinks , roasted sweet potatoes, tangerine , etc. Got acquainted with a friendly couple from HK too! Happy New Year and we hope to be back to Heidi again !

The accommodation features a 24-hour front desk and a business centre for guests. breakfast was asian western.very good.time at 7am was what i like.husband & wife where cool.all the stafff was good.i think it was the son that came to train station to escort me to hotel. 3 minutes. going places was ok once i found the eateries it was good.the good resturants are a little distance from hotel. maybe 1 2 3 kilometers. .,but once you look and find it is ok as you can get the bus.it is maybe 500 meters to shopping then there is the street.at night is place to see..there are many hotels near beauty hotel. but for me it was the beauty hotel that i gave a 10 for.

Wonderful place, the friendly host always available and helpful. Everything was warm and clean. It's located a bit outside the town, but within walking distance, about a kilometer. Much more enjoyable than a hotel, and more economic since you can prepare your own meals. Perfect if you travel with kids and need a bit space.

The property is situated 2.4 km from Sokcho Expo Tower, 3.3 km from Yeongnangho and 12 km from Seoraksan Cable Car. The accommodation offers a shared kitchen, a shared lounge and organising tours for guests. Everything. The guesthouse is located adjacent to seaport so you can feel and smell the sea breeze, also it is only walking distance to open markets that sells everything you need. The guesthouse is very hommy and the owner is very friendly and can speaks few languages fluently (Chinese, English, Indonesian...). I recommend to choose family room with sea view if you travel with 4-5 people. Big room, seaport view with seagulls chirping sound every morning. There is also recommended seafood restaurant at around 200 m back of the hotel, but you need to come before closing time at 8.15 pm. Will definitely stay in this guesthouse if we go back to Sokcho.
