Makmur was my driver from Medan and to my next stay and he spoke good English, was very kind, and went the extra steps to help me with getting cash and stopping to get food.

Comfy beds, sweet, friendly hosts/workers who were very accommodating, the huts are very cool looking (hammocks). It’s amazing they’re really in the jungle but still nearby where you wanna be. A good price for what you get. Washrooms are nice and clean. Everyone hangs out in the main shared area (restaurant area) and plays guitar and plays cards in the evening (but not too late, quiet hours are respected). During the rainy season, you can swim in the pools of the waterfall that is literally one second away from the lodge.

Super friendly helpful hosts. Beautiful spot, away from the crowds. Virtually a private beach. We had brilliant snorkeling. Would have stayed another 2 nights, but they were booked out. We had rental scooter so could go out and about and they hire one if needed. Wonderful small guesthouse with very private villas and view from every villa straight out to the ocean. Each with private balcony, and loungers on coastline for each villa. Also home to the beautiful Lulu dog. Highly recommend, lovely courtyard like eating and drinks area. Thank you Putra and Sharka

Mila Homestay en Padang, está establecido a 10 km de Siti Nurbaya Bridge y ofrece hospedaje climatizado con WiFi gratis, así como acceso a una terraza. Dila y Michael son unos anfitriones geniales. La habitación es cómoda y muy limpia, con aire acondicionado. El desayuno completo y riquísimo, con unas vistas increíbles. En nuestro caso, ellos mismos se ofrecieron a recogernos y llevarnos (por un precio muy inferior al de Grab) tanto al aeropuerto como al puerto, ayudándonos a comprar los billetes del ferry. Si volvemos a Padang, repetiremos con ellos segurísimo. ¡Muchas gracias por todo!

Asim Paris Guesthouse & jungle trekking tiene un jardín, zona de playa privada, una terraza y restaurante en Bukit Lawang. The staff were so great. Andi organised us a great jungle tour and we saw heaps of orangutans. They also got us scooters to hire which was very helpful. The breakfast was also delicious and plentiful. Pancakes or scrambled egg on toast with a plate of fresh fruit. Great value for money, definitely recommend.

Everything was well organized from start to finish. The jungle trek was unforgettable. We saw several orangutans, gibbons, and other monkeys. The guides were knowledgeable and clearly passionate about the environment, always respectful of the wildlife. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and helpful, making us feel at home right away. The accommodation was clean and comfortable. A perfect way to experience the jungle in a responsible and memorable way.

El personal que lleva el alojamiento muy atentos. Pudimos dejar las maletas durante tres días mientras hacíamos una excursión. Nos facilitaron todo lo necesario en cuanto a transporte y disponibilidad.
