The hotel features a pick-up and drop-off zone at the entrance. There is also a public car park nearby. Great location, right by the Pilar, easy parking and loading. Breakfast was excellent. I was in the Air Force in the 80s and we frequently came to Zaragoza for weapons training. We stayed out on the base nearby but would frequent the town when off. It has changed significantly in 40 years but was a blast to visit again. Highly recommended, its not even on the Rick Steve's list. Speaking of which, another hidden gem on the road from Madrid to Zaragoza is the Monasterio de Piedra, STOP there, its awesome!

At Sabinas el Pilar you can choose between rooms and apartments. We were able to park the car outside Hotel Sauce where we collected the keys from. The man on reception guided us to the underground private car park first and then to the apartment. The car park was between Hotel Sauce and the apartment and easily accessible for getting other things from our car. Our apartment looked out to the Basilica - WOW factor. Everything was working, very clean, super comfy beds AND pillows. A truly dream place to stay. Everything was within easy walking distance. One restaurant we highly recommend very close by is Celentano. Probably best to book - the food and service were great and good prices. The rest of the bars around "El Tubo" tapas area were 10 mins walk and an absolute must to experience more than once. Unfortunately the Museum of Origami was closed as they were changing the exhibition, but another slightly different place to visit - they have temporary art exhibitions there as well. We loved our time here and if we ever come north again to Zaragoza, wouldn't stay anywhere else. The Hotel Sauce has a lovely cafe on the ground floor for breakfast etc.

With mountain views, this accommodation offers a patio. The property offers soundproof units and is set 19 km from Monasterio de Piedra Natural Park. Wonderfully renovated apartment, very comfortable, right in the center and very quiet! We loved it so much!!!

First of all, it is good value for money and the owner, Beatriz, is very friendly and communicates well. I was so grateful that she came to our apartment in person to solve the problem we had, even though it was the middle of the night. Welcome wine greeted us, and the house was really clean, convenient, and cutely decorated, so we could feel the owner's attention to detail. The bedding is also very clean. There is a secure parking lot underneath the apartment, which is very convenient for those traveling by car, and the Puerto Venecia shopping mall is very well-maintained, making it a great place for shopping and dining. I recommend Zaragoza to travelers looking for a place to stop for a day on their way from Madrid to Barcelona (or vice versa), and I especially recommend this apartment by Beatriz!

This recently renovated apartment is located 2 km from Roman Forum and 1.7 km from El Ebro. The accommodation provides private check-in and check-out and a tour desk for guests. This was by far the cleanest, sparkliest, apartment we stayed in on our three week trip!
