The hotel staff was extremely on-point. They greeted me by name upon entrance to the hotel, had paperwork printed out for me specifically. That made the checking extremely easy. The receptionist had great suggestions for late-night take-out options, and even offered us silverware once we came back with our food. That's what caring about your guests actually looks like. The breakfast was very well stocked, diverse, and of high quality. Absolutely worth the money. The room had the crib, as we asked. And a huge, sturdy ventilator, to help with the summer heat. That was a very nice addition.

Furthermore, the sister city, Radeberg, in Zentrum (center of city), there is a landmark Medieval church with the blackened stone from centuries and a height that tiptoes upward in the beautiful evening sky! There is a bench to set up a little while and bask in the fresh air while you watch the sunset. Room was fully equipped, but the knives and metal utensils are tucked inside a drawer within a drawer... We did not receive a tour, discovered on our own with a few hours. The room was nice, bright and quiet. There was a kettle , coffee and tea in the room.The owner let me drop off my things in the morning and made sure our bicycles were securely stored. The breakfast was nicely presented and very good. Will definitely stay there again when in Zittau.
