The staff was super nice, they event let us leave our baggages for 2 days while we went to Tayrona park. The jacuzzi at night is super relaxing.

The rooms look exactly like the pictures, are big with very comfortable beds. There are no glasses on the windows only (perfectly maintained) mosquito screens, so at night it sounds like you are literally sleeping in nature!! The place is overall very quiet and relaxing, the traditional thatched roof structures, and the design of the common areas and most bungalows is truly beautiful. The swimming pool is a huge plus. Highly recommend the horseback riding activity to Los Naranjos!

Playa del Ritmo is 8 km from Santa Marta’s historic centre and a 10-minute drive from Simon Bolivar airport. Free private parking is possible on site. I LOVED this hostel, the beach was great without any waves, not a lot of people, very calm water. The breakfast was delish, the food and drinks sold at the bar were very good, a bit pricey but not too bad. I will stay here everytime I visit Santa Marta. Do keep in mind that it's like 15/20 min drive to the center of Santa Marta, but taxis are cheap.

Everything was excellent—especially the warm welcome we received from the staff, who made us feel right at home. The property grounds are beautiful, filled with lush nature and vibrant flowers, creating a truly relaxing atmosphere. The pool was excellent and perfect for cooling off, and we thoroughly enjoyed the breakfasts, which included fresh fruits and delicious typical Colombian dishes. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and we would definitely go back.
