My expectation was entering the jungle with a nature guide to look for local animals. Instead we went on a beach tour. So be sure you explaine correctly what you expect to get the right tour. The other morning we went alone on a little path behind the hotel and managed to see a group of monkeys. So there are wild animals around. For the locals they are just so normal, they don't mention them. Among the local birds are also eagles. Same thing, locals won't mention them as special, as the are regularly seen.

Near everything affordable and the host were accommodating even allowing me to check in early before I was able to exchange my money to pay for the room. It was near affordable food, safe area with police presence nearby, walkable to the malecon , grocery stores, laundry and more. Water wasn’t cold.
