Right opposite Two Rivers and Four Lakes, Guilin Rong Lake Aroma Tea House, formerly Jing Guan Ming Lou Museum Hotel, is located in the city centre. It features collections of ancient Chinese antiques, modern art galleries, a Chinese-style courtyard and accommodation with free wired internet access. Great location, very good breakfast, especially the famous Guilin rice noodle. But I particularly love the artistic decorations throughout hotel and room with traditional Chinese painting and calligraphy and wooden furniture, some of them are real antics. Only regret is I that we stayed there only one night as a transit point to Yangshuo ferry.

The inn’s cozy ambiance and thoughtful touches perfectly complemented Yangshuo’s unique vibe. I highly recommend Jing Yuan Inn to anyone visiting Yangshuo. The place is running by responsible, caring and lovely people that would do everything for the guests in order to make them feel at home, including trip arrangements. The hotel is very clean and its design is amazing and makes you feel calm and peaceful during the staying. I stayed in a very fine and luxurious room, including huge and comfortable bath and bed. The breakfast meals are wonderful. I’m strongly recommend this place, was lucky to get there.

A little out of town so will need a taxi back and forth but it was okay. The surroundings are beautiful.
