The location of the apartment was excellent, close to several bus stations and just a 10-minute walk to the university. The best part was the amazing view of the lake. Having a well-stocked kitchen is a big plus for a relatively expensive place like Neuchatel. The price of the apartment was also very low compared to almost all the hotels. The nice couple who manages the property were very kind, despite the language barrier. They checked me in despite coming in late at night.

Ofreciendo vistas al jardín, Chambre d'hôtes Littoral 65 es un hospedaje situado en Chez-le-Bart, a 32 km de International Watch and Clock Museum y a 12 km de Creux du Van. Rosemarie was a wonderful host. She asked us what we preferred for breakfast and she made sure everything was prepared. Very nice coffee, the real one from an Italian-style coffee maker. We will be back if we happen to visit the area in the furure.

It's a truly cute historic hotel in a beautiful gorge I would never have found on my own. The rooms are nice, in a sort of historic-french decor. Breakfast is fantastic, nicely set, French bread, coffee to order, organic local yogurt, etc. Peaceful and quiet, a bucolic little river flowing by, walking trails, trees... it is all that it seems and more. Oh and fresh trout for dinner. What the French can do with a little butter, flour, lemon, and salt and pepper is amazing.
