We are a bikepacking couple that needed to take shelter from some bad weather. As soon as we arrived, Christina made us feel very welcome and couldn't do enough for us (coffee and cookies at reception were a bonus too). The rooms are very clean, quiet and comfortable with plenty of space (big enough for both our bikes and bags) and the addition of some lovely complementary cosmetics and coffee. We had a fabulous view of the sea from our room on the 3rd floor. It's an ideal spot to wander to the beach or down the street to some nice the eateries and bars. We liked it so much we stayed an extra night :)

We really enjoyed our stay at boardwalk cottages. Ivy was very welcoming, the cottage has everything you need. Super cozy with the fireplace, the French press coffee was delicious and the resh pastries delivered to your door were just amazing. Loved staying here, and most importantly they are pet friendly!

Quiet cottages perfect for passing through the area. Spotless sheets and bathroom, and the area was updated and cute for pictures. Parking was close to the doors and I felt very safe as a solo female traveler.

Friendliness of staff at check in, also asked for early check in and room was ready when I got there which was nice as it was a cold rainy day. Parking was easy to access and room to access car without crowding from other cars.

The cleanliness was impressive. Lots of little extras that some places don't offer were available and while I didn't need them because I brought them, it was much appreciated if for any reason I had forgotten those items. The contact less check in was fantastic because we worked that day and didn't get there till quite a bit later in the day, I was told what cottage, the appropriate parking spot and our room code well in advance of our arrival. Seeing the staff the next day, they were helpful and sweet. Had an awesome experience.
