The lodge was amazing. The owners were really helpful, told us about an amazing swimming spot near by which was great fun. Property had everything you needed. Really relaxed atmosphere and a lovely continental breakfast. Would definitely stay again.

An absolutely superb guest house where every possible thing has been thought of in order to give guests a stay to remember. I highly recommend Twin Gables and as I visit Woodstock regularly from UK, in order to see my son and his family, I will be making the guest house my place to stay in future for sure. Adam, the host & property owner, thought of every possible need in a suite and provided for it. The Herwood Inn is immaculately clean, tidy, well located and welcoming. We had a marvelous 4 day (3 night) stay. I highly recommend the Herwood Inn!

We really liked our stay in Matterhorns Hunter Lodge. We stayed for two nights with our two years old son and we really appreciated the new and big playground. He wakes up soon and it was great to take him to play there in the morning and before bedtime. It is located under the mountains and the view is really nice. Also it is very calm, very few cars passing by. We liked the self check in and privacy. Very comfortable bed. Would stay again, I appreciate that the owners are taking care of it and investing in it :).

Really easy to find and park. Upon arrival, the staff were super lovely, allowing me to check in half an hour early. The room was spectacular with an extremely comfortable bed and lovely bathroom with a great shower! It was very clean and felt really at home. As a solo traveller the whole vibe of the hotel felt really welcoming and safe. I didn’t check out the pool as I had no swimming stuff but it looked amazing. As I was on the ground floor it also seemed really accessible for anyone who has accessibility needs so would definitely recommend to them also. I loved the decor, the Beatles album on record player was a nice touch. I would definitely recommend and stay again in the future if I’m ever this way!
