Excellent minsu with an incredible view, comfortable room, and super hospitable owner. We really enjoyed the heated beds and hot showers, the numerous walking trails around the property, interacting with the owner over tea, and the delicious breakfast. You’ll find in this minsu a really warm and friendly hospitality!

This is an excellent place to stay in the Alishan area. The hosts are incredibly welcoming and were happy to pick us up from Shizhuo bus stop and also to take us down to the village for dinner. The rooms are a good size with a seating area outside to relax. There is a beautiful garden with a view of the tea plantations and village below. There is a sunset viewing platform one minute's walk from the guest house, from where you can see the 'sea of clouds' below. Also less than five minutes walk above the guest house is the beginning of the Mist Trail, which is part of 5 inter-connected short walks around the area - all of which have stunning views. I've also stayed in Fenqihu and visited Alishan Forest Recreation Area, and although both are beautiful, I would stay in Shizhuo and Chang Qing Ju again every time.
