We were made so very welcome by the property owner, Aziz. Excellent communication prior to arriving and greeted upon our arrival. The garden house is an oasis of calm and perfectly appointed. A lovely garden area to relax in with a small pool. The interior is very well and comfortably furnished. This property met and exceeded our expectations.

Lovely chalet, with a neat enclosed courtyard, completely as described. Parking in the courtyard. Swimming pool. A whole pack of bottled drinking water. Very friendly host, you can see he has a heart for the chalet and the guests. Sent a list of sights, clearly explained that on jebel ash sham can go up on 2d (we saw how frightened by forums tourists went several kilometers on foot), and then separately asked if we all ok. Chalet is in the old town, right behind the wall. The price/quality ratio is excellent, I recommend it. We regret that we stayed only one night.

The people are very kind, the director is a wonderful lady, elegant, friendly, suer in her ways, and with much patience. I arrived with a group of 15 people who assaulted the reception but, she was very calm and welcomed us very well.

The property is in a really convenient location in Al Hamra, close to everything you need, yet tucked away in a peaceful spot that feels like an oasis. It’s a perfect base for visiting Jebel Shams and the nearby mud villages. The owner and staff are incredibly helpful and kind. Breakfast and dinner—served on the terrace or out in the field—are both delicious. Hamza, the owner, is a fantastic host, plain and simple.

All you can want out of a stay in the old part of Al Hamra, a superb mix between traditional and a modern touch. I highly recommend Mountain View for staying a few days in the area, it’s totally worth it, from the look and feel of the place, to the big terrace and the extremely friendly staff!
