Room is SUPER CLEAN, SPACIOUS bathroom with a bath tub and separate toilet, super cozy living room that comes with game, fresh water and snacks, it feels like home! You can see cow and chicken at the farm. The highlight is stargazing at night, wow, there are so many STARS, the view is much better than lake Tepako. The owner of the house is super friendly and gives good recommendation of what to explore around the neighbourhood, you can really experience the local life here. Location is also amazing, not far from Linda Pass and Wanaka, with delicious countryside cafe 3 mins away. This place is the highlight of my trip, YOU MUST STAY HERE! Very clean, cozy and warm. The breakfast was delicious. The bed very comfortable and the spa very relaxing. Amazing views during the day and night. Sandy, and the doggys were absolutely nice and friendly with us!

The artist’s house is a very inspirational place to be. Never have we felt so honoured by a host. We stayed together with two other couples, given that this is a large house we felt a lot of privacy. Sharing stories around the fireplace gave even more depth to our stay. A sauna was recently added to the well furnished house. Breakfast could be arranged, a real treat. Nothing was too much for our host. Her presence created a positive atmosphere where everyone felt comfortable and welcome.

I stayed here for a couple of weeks while I was working in cromwell, lovely little quiet inn on a beautiful property. Hospitality was great. Comfortable and clean. Indoor fire place is a great touch and some cute dogs running around made it feel homely. Tip- it is cheaper to book directly through them !

Everything was perfect. Beautifully presented property with everything you might need. Exceptionally clean and comfortable. Lovely location near a walk round the waterside. A good restaurant nearby. Views of the hills in the distance. A welcoming host. Nice seating area outside.

Opened in January 2017, the adults only Cromwell Escape is located 3.7 km from Central Otago District Council in Cromwell and only 100 meters from the new Lake Dunstan cycle trail.
