We had an amazing view from our room. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the room itself was extremely cosy and warm. Sue and David were lovely hosts who prepared us a delicious breakfast and then showed us some of the animals on the farm. We wish we could have stayed more nights! A highly recommended gem of accommodation, surrounded by beautiful nature. The best part was when their adorable cat came into our room for some cuddles!

This older farmhouse is spacious, very comfortable, and tastefully decorated. The hosts provided complementary local produce, which felt very welcoming. There was plenty of room for family members to park. The rural outlook and views of the Rangititkei cliffs contributed to a relaxing stay. The location was perfect for outdoor activities in and around Mangaweka.

Historic Shearers Quarters is set in Ruahine. This farm stay offers free private parking and private check-in and check-out. The farm stay features mountain views and a picnic area.

We loved the rustic nature of the shearers quarters and the numerous nic nacs around the rooms. Most enjoyable!

The breakfast was good and service was excellent. The accommodation was comfortable and we loved the farm animals and maze. We stayed in one of the huts which had an outdoor deck which was perfect for a glass of wine and the shared kitchen had everything needed.
