This property is absolutely stunning. The location is fabulous with amazing view and only the sound of sheep and birds. Well equipped with everything you need and a very comfortable bed. There is also a great BBQ out on the deck.

One of my favorite stays. The place is bright, light and inviting. Everything is new. Very spacious unit. Kitchen is well equipped, even a dishwasher! Comfy bed. Would definitely come back!

The 3 bedroom unit was clean, spacious and internal access to bistro and bar was great for rough weather. The room had a large covered deck with picnic table was a great spot for leaving muddy boots or sitting in the sun. Staff were friendly helpful and efficient would definitely recommend and come and stay again. Meals were amazing at the bistro

This is a beautiful location with really lovely hosts. Waking up to the sounds of birds was great. And then hearing the playful donkeys asking for breakfast later in the morning was fun too. But the accommodation was a perfect location for a quiet getaway while being close to a lot of the natural beauty attractions in the area.

    Beautiful peaceful location with sheep as neighbours. Great roomy parking. Very comfortable adult bed. Lovely travel cot set up for baby & they kindly provided us with toy building blocks also which was so kind.

    We have stayed here a few times and have found these hotels to have everything you would need to have a good stay, whether as a couple or with a family. The facilities are a bit dated but well maintained and very clean as are the grounds outside. They come with covered parking and a few friendly cat visitors! I would highly recommend this Motel for convenience and comfort.

    Walking distance to shops, cafe and restaurant. Lovely pretty period house . We loved the room nice big space well decorated. The bed very comfortable. There are utensil and crockery insitu, nice comfortable seating and eating area. Outside seating and table. Off street parking if needed just ask however a very quiet area. There is an outside plug you can slow charge an EV or PHEV you will need your own cable for 3 pin socket ( need to arrange payment) Jill and Alli were lovely hosts ,very helpful nothing was too much trouble.

    Nice motel in Owaka, good option if you are travelling to the Catlins and South coast. The lady is welcoming and even gave us a chocolate muffin, which was a really nice gesture and the muffin was delicious. Parking lot in front of the room. Equipped kitchen in the room.

    This motel exceeded our expectations. The photos do not do this accommodation justice. The place was spacious with covered car parking and excellent facilities. They really do need to update the website as the place is so much better than shown on Bookings.com
