stay on the mountain without air pollution close to World peace pagoda ,good place to get exercise with hiking up and down about 3-5 kms to Pokhara city on the road or on the jungle trail ,tasty and quality breakfast ,near the starting point to Lake side and pagoda ,many birds singing in the morning, good location to see nice view of Annapurna range and Pewa Lake

Our one-night stay at Raniban Retreat was short but deeply restorative—just the kind of peaceful escape we didn’t know we needed. Perched above Pokhara, this hidden gem offers stunning panoramic views of the Annapurna range, Phewa Lake, and the city below. The moment we arrived, it felt like we had been transported to another world—quiet, calm, and wrapped in the embrace of nature. The retreat is beautifully and tastefully designed to blend seamlessly with its natural surroundings. Winding stone paths, wooden cottages, and lush greenery all contribute to a sense of tranquil isolation that melts away the noise and stress of city living. Even though we were there for just one night, it was more than enough to recharge our social batteries and reconnect with ourselves. The hospitality at Raniban was equally unforgettable. From the start, the team was warm, attentive, and thoughtful. Pradip, the operations manager, made our check-in a breeze and later surprised us with a heartfelt farewell ceremony steeped in Nepali tradition—a touching gesture that left a lasting impression. Rakesh, the manager, was ever-present to ensure everything ran smoothly. A very special mention goes to Asvin, who went out of his way to take care of us throughout our stay. He thoughtfully surprised us with an impromptu candlelight dinner—a magical and unexpected gesture that made our evening extra special. He was always on hand to assist with our questions, and his attentiveness and genuine warmth made us feel incredibly well cared for. The food at Raniban Retreat was another highlight—fresh, organic, and packed with flavor, much of it sourced directly from their own backyard garden. Dining with a view of the Himalayas made every bite feel like a celebration. Despite a minor setback with a piece of broken luggage (damaged during our flight), the staff went above and beyond to help us manage the issue.

Dinesh, and the taxi driver organised for me (Mik) were fantastic. Very accommodating and kind. The location is unbeatable, arguably the best view in the valley when clear.

The place is tidy and clean, with a young and dynamic atmosphere. Breakfast is included and is quite nice. I highly recommend the Bunk Bed Dormitory Room—the room is air-conditioned, the bed is comfortable, and the curtain provides privacy. The entire staff is really friendly and welcoming, especially the two guys who manage the place—Anish and Anup. They assist with everything you need and address any issue that arises. I had an amazing one-night stay at Temple Himalaya Hotel & Spa. The location is perfect, with stunning views. The rooms are spacious, and beautifully designed, ensuring a relaxing stay. The staff is incredibly polite, friendly, and always ready to assist. Breakfast was a real treat, with a wide selection of delicious options, and the spa was the perfect way to unwind before leaving. Highly recommend!

A good place to stay after finishing my trekking. The location was perfect, a quiet side street and very close to the city center. The quietness at night helped me sleep really well. Also really enjoyed the hot shower and comfortable beds. The owner was helpful in getting me bus tickets to Pokhara and a taxi to the bus station.

The SANTOSHI GUESTHOUSE is situated very close to the lakeside in Pokhara, in the midst of cozy cafés and restaurants with delicious local Nepali and international food. Bikram, the owner is one sweet soul,always very caring about the needs and wishes of his guests. He and his staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout my stay. My room was in immaculate condition-very comfortable, good value and clean with inside bathroom included. One extra plus point is the Yoga room that you can use anytime for your own practise or meditation. I will surely come back and stay with him again.👏💚 Absolutely recommend 👍👍👍
