Our stay at Chital Lodge was truly amazing. The setting was a perfect blend of tranquillity and serenity while being surrounded by wildlife. The lodge was clean and spacious, and the beds were comfortable. The outside area was great to sit and relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Bishnu and his family were fantastic. We had delicious homemade food every day. They really looked after us. Then there was the safari. Bishnu offers a range of different types of safari. We chose a walking safari. It was one of the most exillerating things I have done in my life. We saw a large variety of wildlife, including lots of Rhino! Bishnu has a great passion for the wildlife in Chitwan, and what he doesn't know isn't worth knowing. We always felt safe with him. Thank you to Bishnu and his family. We will cherish these memories forever.

A warm and humorous place close to nature. Here, Hari can take you to do yoga, take you on daily jungle adventures, and cook for you, hahaha 😌. His family is also lovely and will take care of everything for you. The jungle is amazing, and I really love it there. You can see many different wild animals, such as rhinos, deer, and various kinds of birds. I hope you can spot a tiger! The houses here are all built by Hari himself—he’s really impressive! The stay is also very comfortable ☺️. You can lie on the floor and bask in the sun, listen to music in a hammock, and just relax here. It’s so soothing.

Charming family, made me feel at home. They took care of me as if I were a family member, served delicious homemad meals and made me long to return to this amazing place. Tiger Wildlife Resort was my home for two weeks. Besides the beauty of the place, perfect for those who seek quiet surroundings, what was truly remarkable is the care I received as a guest here. I felt like a VIP, a princess even, as the owners, Gambir, and the rest of the team, went out of their way to make my stay absolutely perfect. I was given what I believe is the best room on the property, with a balcony facing the park, from which every morning I would see all sorts of animals: deers, rhinos, boars and countless birds (among which peacocks and black storks and openbills) The food here is absolutely excellent, always freshly made and very tasty. The chef is so sweet, always doing his best to satisfy my (many!) requests. The safaris and tours were also lovely experiences, as the parks in the area have lots to offer. I recommend taking the time to visit Tikauli and the 20k lake. I also enjoyed walking around the rural village and talking to a few locals who seem to adore foreigners. In general, I would imagine staying here about 5 days is enough to tick all the touristy stuff of the list... unless - like me - you're not in a rush about seeing this and that, maybe you work online and enjoy taking some time away from more mundane life.. then stay as long as your heart feels and discover how wholesome it is to become a Tiger Wildlife family member !
