We had a wonderful few days staying in the rooftop Retreat. It is in the pedestrian zone, right in the center of town, so you cannot take your car to the door. The car park is about a four minute walk away. Once you have climbed the four fairly steep flights of stairs you are in your own little retreat the owner seems to have thought of everything. A spotlessly clean soft bed, small kitchen with everything you needed and a lovely bath, complete with bubbles and toiletries. There were even fluffy robes to put on afterwards. Our host was helpful in suggesting areas we may enjoy, but left us alone to enjoy our stay. I would definitely recommend this as a place to stay.

We enjoyed the easy access to the city's Airborne museum. And we really appreciated the hotel's dining facilities as our visit occurred during wet and cold weather , so seeking sustenance elsewhere was not desirable We both appreciated the wonderful cuisine offered by the hotel for our dinners as well as its delicious breakfasts. We also appreciated the generous size of our room as it became our home away from.home when the weather kept us indoors. Finally, and very Importantly, we really appreciated each staff.member with whom we came in contact. Each was friendly and incredibly generous with his/ her time whenever we sought their assistance. The quality of service they extended to us was truly exceptional and unparalleled in our experience. .

The Church is in a great city location. Superb repurposing of an old Church building giving it new life as an hotel and fabulous eatery. Eating in the restaurant really was ‘Heaven for your senses’ enjoying spectacular food in the midst of a fantastic theatrical performance. Can’t recommend it enough.
