The staff were very friendly and helpful. The little shop was well stocked. The camp sites were well maintained with our own private facilities and a roof structure over our tent giving shade. The location is beautiful. We‘ll definitely return.

We had an amazing time at Desert Lodge and couldn't have asked for a better experience. The accommodation was fantastic, offering stunning views and breathtaking sunsets that we will never forget. One of the highlights was the affordable and delicious BBQ option, which we thoroughly enjoyed. The proximity to Dead Vlei was also perfect – it made visiting the iconic site so easy and convenient. Additionally, we loved relaxing by the pool and had a great time at the bar. The entire atmosphere was incredibly welcoming, and we truly felt at home. Beautifully kept campsite with private bathroom that has enough hot water every evening for 4 very dusty travellers! The staff were very helpful and accommodating, especially when we arrived after dark due to a luggage mishap.

One of the best campsites we have been in Namibia: it has everything you need. Located in a very quiet place, it is a premium choice if you want to have a rest while travelling from Sesriem to the southern part of Namibia. They have 7 camping sites in 2 different areas and both areas have a swimming pool, in addition to the main swimming pool you can find at the reception. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Every dinner they have something different cooked the same day: the Lamb Stew was terrific! Highly recommended 💪🏼

The camp site delivered what it promised: hot water, private toilet and shower, electricity. It all worked fine. Great to have the roof as shade, since it was scorching hot. The braai also worked nicely!

Exceptional place in a fantastic location. Each room has a beautiful view overlooking the desert where we saw animals (oryx and springbok) roaming freely. The room itself was beautiful and spacious. The bathroom was huge!! The buffet for breakfast and dinner caters to all tastes and needs. The service from the staff was very friendly and efficient.

We chose due to its vicinity to Sossusvlei. The lodge with the rooms is very nice. Especially we liked the dinner in the nice restaurant. Also, were we given great advice on what to do, what to see etc. The whole team is very customer oriented. The food was great and the plates looked great as well - the manager, as previous chief, guided the team to a very high level. When we arrived, we saw the first Oryx. Loved the stay and the sunset.
