I really liked the overall experience. The hotel was in contact with me with many details before we arrived, which helped me feel good to know they were expecting us! The combination of a great host, beautiful surroundings, a comfortable and well appointed suite, nice guests and excellent service. I was happy to stay at Hotel Casa Nueva. Staff were really helpful and efficient. Felt like staying at a home, not a hotel. It's one of those places that does the basics, but does them really well. Right on the water, simple but good food, very reasonably priced. Manageress (Esmeralda) went out of our way to make our stay good. Was joined by my family and we all had a lovely peaceful stay by the waterside. Quiet at night, a great getaway.

The location is amazing.. right at the lake.. the property has over 22 beautiful orange Iguanas .. just magnificent Staff extremely friendly. Definitely recommended.
