The Canyon Matka Hotel is the most beautifully located hotel we have stayed in. The restaurant is outstanding and the people we met there are amazing. Especially charismatic Ive. Place was as advertised, clean and in good shape. The communication with the host was excellent, met us at the place, showed us around, we had parking spot right below our balcony. The location was quiet, 5min walk from the Skopje city mall. There were restaurants, bars and pizza place nearby. Also, host agreed to extend our stay for two more hours for free, as we wanted to visit nearby attractions in the morning.

The apartment was very clean, modern, and comfortable. It had everything we needed, and the location was perfect right in the heart of Skopje, close to all main attractions. The host was friendly and helpful, which made the stay even better.

I've been travelling for over 30 years, Macedonia is the country 102 I visit and only this year since January I've been to 39 cities in 19 countries in 4 continents. With my experience, I can say this is the very best apartment at this price level anyone could imagine, possibly in the world! The large space, the beautiful decoration, the quality of everything, the bathroom and kitchen finishings, the complete equipment, the little details, everything was excellent! It really puts most other places to shame for its excellent quality and the kindness of its owners. It's a short bike ride to all downtown and there's nearby parks and stores. It has been an absolute gem of a stay. Thank you!!

Beautiful new apartment, clean and with all the basic needs met. Close to the city center (5-10 min by car) and the ZOO Skopje, 30 seconds to the Vardar embankment which connects to the city park. The closest mall City Mall is 5 min on foot, 1 min by car. Parking in front of the building is available at any time. The hosts welcomed us and were very kind and available for additional needs. I definitely recommend this place, great price vs value.

    The location is perfect for visit the canyon. The room is clean with nice little things like a bottle of drinking water. Breakfast is included in the price, the dinner is ok. We got to the hotel in the late afternoon and was able to park the closest parking spot although it still a little distance to the hotel but it is acceptable for this specific location. Highly recommended

    Absolutely beautiful site but gets very busy at weekends. Hotel room was good and comfortable ( no air conditioning). Food was very good Stunning location but parking can be problematic and it is a few minutes walk from parking uphill to hotel.

    Nice place if you wanna be next to the canyon and see it in less busy hours! Not so busy in October anyways we experienced.. easy to get parking contrary to what other reviews said. Nice breakfast!
