I felt at home and everyone in the family is a friendly, accommodating and a warm host. I learned a few more words of Sinhala while I helped Damayanthie with the cooking or played UNO with their children. There is a river nearby where you can swim, so I went there with the 2 kids. This place was amazing, the food was great the outlook from our deck was so peaceful. We found the owner and staff so helpful. If you are looking for the best hotel to stay for your trip to Wilpattu National Park, this is the place!! We had an amazing 3 nights here. The rooms are clean and big. Property is beautifull, and even has a swimming pool. The food here is the best we’ve had in Sri Lanka, we ate the same curry three nights in a row because it was so good. But the best part is the family that runs the place. They have the kindest and sweetest souls and really made our stay the best. We would love to come back and would HIGHLY recommend!! And they also have the sweetest dogs.

The hosts were amazing, very friendly and helpful. Lunch was very very good and very generous helpings! The Safari organised through the host was superb and well run and the location was beautiful in the middle of the jungle and a short walk to a lovely lake Thank you so much - we had a great time and very highly recommend!!!
