A wonderful simple & authentic home stay. The owners (mother & son) were so lovely, friendly and helpful. The tea & cake on arrival were very welcome! It was the perfect overnight stay before doing the 10minute walk to Nanuoya train station the next day. Would highly recommend.

The family that owns this accommodation are so kind and accommodating. They stayed up to get us from our train and we were welcomed with tea and cookies. We had the best meals we have had in Sri Lanka here, both breakfasts and dinner. The rooms are in their house, but you still feel like you have your own space. They directed us to a nearby waterfall and tea plantation and also graciously allowed us to stay a bit to wait for our departure train.

Appleton Villa is a true hidden gem in the middle of nowhere—exactly the kind of place you dream of discovering! The villa is incredibly stylish, with an elegant design and a cozy atmosphere. From the moment we arrived, the staff was beyond attentive, ensuring we had the most comfortable stay. We were welcomed with a lovely cup of tea, and though we weren’t hungry, the mouthwatering aromas from the kitchen were hard to resist. The next morning, we were treated to an absolutely incredible breakfast. The entire stay was flawless—smooth check-in and check-out, spotless cleanliness, and a wide range of services available. The villa also offers super-fast WiFi, streaming channels in the room, and spacious, beautifully designed accommodations. Our one night stay at Cozy Heaven was lovely. The whole family was so nice, super happy to help us and we had great conversations. The room was absolutely perfect - cozy and had everything we needed. We slept so well in the bed. The food was AMAZING, their rice and curry is a must! Thank you so much, we will definitely recommend this place to our friends and family and will also come back.
