Very nice relaxing apartment.Has all the facilities one needs.Fully equipped kitchen,private bathroom,portable fan,lovely mountain view from the kitchen,nice relaxing balcony area.Anuruddha,the owner is most helpful and informative about the surrounding area and attentive to any needs I may have. The whole experience was impressive and after having stayed in many hotels in Sri Lanka, this is definitely one if the best. The sounds of the rainforest at night and the lake view in the morning amplified the experience. Staff was very helpful and gave great guidance beyond the cliches.

The room was super clean, with large and very comfortable beds. The bathroom was excellent, with its own shower tray and glass screen – not the typical Sri Lankan style where the whole floor gets wet. This made it much more comfortable for us as Europeans. The staff were very friendly, and the breakfast was delicious. The only small point is that to reach the city center you need to take a tuk-tuk, but that was not a problem for us.

This was a phenomenal stay. The decor in the rooms and common areas were beautiful, the bed was the comfiest hotel bed I’ve ever slept on and THE SHEETS! This was luxury for such a great price. The staff were so helpful and kind and the breakfast was fresh and delicious. Very good coffee too. I didn’t want to leave, I will definitely stay here again without hesitation.

We had such a lovely time here. The room is spacious, clean and the bed is super comfortable. We did the cooking class and it was a blast, the lady is so fun :) The owner of the house and his family are so nice. Would definitely recommend a stay here, outside of the chaos of the city.
