I liked many things about Nuga Retreat. First of all, the beautiful, natural surroundings with mountain views created a unique atmosphere of peace and relaxation. The rooms were comfortable and well-equipped, providing convenience, and the outdoor pool was a great place to unwind. I also really appreciated the friendly and helpful staff who truly made an effort to ensure our stay was enjoyable.

This place was absolutely breathtaking—truly a dream! The house, designed by the host, was just as stunning. You can immediately tell they have incredible taste. Wow! The hosts were beyond kind and welcoming. They gave us a tour of their garden, and it was nothing short of magical. If you can name a fruit or vegetable, they grow it! Breakfast was a feast—fresh, flavorful, and straight from the garden. Every bite was pure joy! All in all, this stay was unforgettable. Before we left, we each planted a durian tree, and we can’t wait to come back in a few years to see it grow. If you're looking for a special place to stay, this is it!

I have travelled a lot in my life, but here the hospitality and the gesture by the owner is next level. Property owner Prasad Dhanushka and Nadeeshan have thought well in advance keeping travellers party moond at the property. On special request they have arranged party speaker, hukka (sheesha) and also we cooked our own Indian style food at the property. Best part is you own the complete villa during the stay. Everything! The location, the property and the view are amazing. The owner and the staff are both very polite, helpful and friendly. They let us take a closer look to their bee hives when we requested it and did everything to get to us something that we forgot at our room on our next destination. The staff were all so welcoming and the main concierge was super attentive and kind. When we arrived late at night, he was there and quick to get us checked in. On route, the hotel even dropped us a text to check if we required supper and if so they would keep the kitchen open. We had our own supper and the concierge who received us was so hospital and opened up the restaurant for us to dine in. He later turned on the lights and music for the billard room and foosball area too. And since there were 3 of us, when 1 of our travelling companions was using the shower, the concierge graciously offered the 2 of us a free 5min head massage by their in house masseuse (who was really good with the pressure and technique).
