We enjoyed the warm welcome and very friendly service during out 7 days stay. The breakfast, lunch and dinner were outstanding regarding quality and taste, varity of all dishes. Additionally we used the relaxing massages and enjoyed all other services and support by the staffs. The concept of the hotel regarding sustainability and individual service is exceptionell.

So friendly and professional staffs made our stay perfect and wonderful! They first asked me if any special event for this trip and they prepared nice decorations each day for different occasions during our stay. Our family had a wonderful memories for this nice service. Their prepared interlocking rooms made our stay more comfortable. We specially appreciate to a very friendly staff named Tharindi for organizing everything so perfect for us. We will definitely miss this wonderful experience and come again for another happier time.

Breakfast was exceptional and included, the evening meal was outstanding, order your drinks so they have them in, our preference is bottled Lion beer and ginger beer shandy, refreshing in the heat I read other peoples reviews and I had to include this homestay in our trip, Hungama doesn't attract the usual tourist but it was quite convenient to Yala and easy to access Bundala national parks. Our host, Sagara, took an hour out of his day to walk with us which was interesting and informative..

The location was picturesque, staff was super friendly and attentive, the food was delicious, and the stay was really comfortable with all the comforts that you'd expect in any good hotel. Closeness to the main turtle Beach and Rekawa Turtle association, 5 mins walk. Beautifully kept gardens the rooms look onto. Amazingly designed and thought out rooms for such a small area....no one overlooks each other, so you have lots of privacy.. Huge comfy bed and massive walking shower in the bathroom. Many lights to create your own ambiance. Loved our patio with wooden chairs and a separate large table where breakfast is served. Where we watched plenty of birds each morning. Ceiling fan rotated well and air-conditioning was super cold and powerful, rarity on our travels in SL. Decent fridge too. Fantastic local restaurant run by a sweet family called Ruwani 2 mins,walk away. Lastly the owner Tatoo kept us happy with cold cheap beer and water.

Wonderful, very clean accommodation with the most beautiful pool we’ve experienced so far. Very friendly and family-like service, and an incredible variety of exotic wildlife, especially birds. Secluded dream beaches within walking distance (though unfortunately very rough at this time of year). Lots of restaurants just a few minutes’ walk away. A true piece of authentic Sri Lanka. Thanks also for the nice birthday surprise for my daughter! Unforgettable stay!
