The location was great and perfect for a romantic escape. The host was wonderful, always helpful and ready to assist us with anything. The hotel restaurant was also good, with excellent options.

The room was quite big, the bed very comfy and the bathroom clean. I didn't have a view on the river but I was only meters away from it. The guesthouse is made of little bungalows, really nice. You can rent bicycles but I would strongly recommend you go early and ask for a good one that you book for your whole stay otherwise they have a collection of bicycles in questionable shape. Everybody uses a bike on the island. They also provide ATM and currency exchange services at an extra fee. I compared with other places around the island, their price is good.

Perfect accommodation and nice stay! We want to stay here longer but we have to move from laos. The owner Mr. Ta and his family very friendly and helpful. New room with Air conditioning and balcony where we can relaxing with river and sunset view, the location is perfect not far from the center, walking street to the bar and restaurant, but we almost eat here while we stay here they have good restaurant for serve good food too, they have boat tour around dondet to other island to see sunset and river it 300,000 kip for 1 half hour well worth the price. We have lovely stay and lovely experiences, wish your business all the best

This was the best stay I’ve had while traveling down through Laos from Luang Prabang. Totally recommend it to everyone! Alex and Leymon are super friendly. they even helped arrange a ride to Don Det and were quick to reply to messages before I arrived. Especially, Leymon’s Asian food was amazing, honestly as good as what I’ve had in the actual countries. Can’t wait to try it again! Between meals we played cards, chatted, and hung out with their dogs and cats—such a chill vibe. The room was clean and comfy, with a soft bed, towels, and shampoo. The shower has an open ceiling, so you might notice it when it rains, but it didn’t bother me at all. Loved the whole experience!

Amazing stayed! The accommodation location is in sunset side, not far from the pier 5 minutes walk the guest house is far from the motor bike road too so it's more quiet for us, don't looking for luxury we highly recommend

Best Guesthouse in Don Det. Beautiful house directly at the river front. Cute balconies with hammocks, seperated from each other with wodden gitters to not restrict the view. Super clean. Very friendly owner. She arranged both of our transfers and everything went perfectly. The location was perfect, 5 min walk to the city centre but quiet for the evenings.

The view from the rooms and the restaurant to the river is great! The sunsets are just beautiful. Hammocks are provided outside each room. The staff is really polite and friendly and the food is delicious as well. The room was clean and had sufficient space for our stuff. The bathroom seemed newly renovated. We had a great stay and the place has really good value for money.

No breakfast which is a pity but lots of good places esp Mama Tanons up the road. Otherwise very difficult to fault. Great stay.
