Be sure to walk through the valleys, climb the mountains, do not be lazy to walk and there will be no limit to delight! Next to the guest house on a hill there is a family restaurant "Terrace" with a stunning view of the mountains and the sunset. Be sure to have dinner in the evening, you will be amazed by the views and the quality of the food.

We were traveling around Issyk-Kul Lake with our three young children, searching for a quiet and beautiful place to stay. When I came across Taberik, I was initially hesitant — the place had no reviews, and traveling with kids, comfort is our top priority. But the location looked so stunning that I decided to take a chance. And I’m so glad I did — Taberik exceeded all our expectations. We were warmly greeted by Meyrambek, the owner, who welcomed us with tea and cookies and shared that they had just opened for their very first season. The entire place is brand new and built with great attention to detail. The setting is breathtaking: nestled at the foot of a mountain, surrounded by untouched nature, with yurts and cozy cabins scattered across the land. The cabins have heating, hot water, and high-speed internet via Starlink, which was a pleasant surprise given the remote location. The interiors are thoughtfully designed — wooden furniture, natural materials, spotless cleanliness, and a cozy atmosphere. You can immediately feel that a lot of care, resources, and investment went into creating this place. We passed by several other guesthouses along the way, and honestly, none of them came close to Taberik. It’s truly a different level of comfort and beauty. There’s also a stunning waterfall nearby, adding to the magic of the place. This location touched my heart so deeply that I couldn’t resist writing this review — and I don’t do that often. The host and their daughters were very friendly. :) We had breakfast and dinner together and we played pexeso and card game "durak" with them. It was really fun :) They treated us like family. They were willing to change our stay by one day later. Thank you so much for your hospitality

Nice, clean place with a homey feel to it. Mars, the owner, is very helpful and knowledgeable and went out of his way to make my time in Karakol pleasant and memorable.

The host, Maxim surely goes above and beyond to make sure that we had the most comfortable stay. And indeed, we loved it. The hostel itself is awesome, very comfortable bed in the tent, super clean bathroom and toilet, lovely kitchen and perfect meeting space with other travellers. Also the price is surely a steal! Couldn’t find a better deal than this. Would definitely come back if I have the chance to.

Superb apartment at the very center of Karakol. All the necessary amenities there. Two bedrooms are quite spacious for 4 people. Large living room is combined with kitchenette that is fully equipped and very suitable if you cook at home. Apartment is very clean. The owner is helpful and very easy in communication.

At this hotel we felt like at home. It is in reality designed like home with the big common area consisting of living room, dining room and kitchen. On the upper floors there are rooms. We were given a big room with private bathroom and a balcony with a very nice view of the mountains and river. Everything was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was very good. The big private parking is available at the property. The location is not that close to the city center but there is a market and the pharmacy available by the short walk. The host was extremely friendly and gave us many tips and useful information. He speaks fluent english.
