Saki and Hayden were amazing hosts, made us feel very welcome. The staff were lovely and the food DELISH! Breakfast was different each day and super tasty. Japanese room was so comfy and cosy. Overall, a great stay and would come again

I had a wonderful stay at this small, friendly hotel with its beautiful location right on Lake Nojiri (one of my favourite places in the world). Ted and his staff helped me settle in and check out comfortably, and the room really exceeded my expectations - very spacious, with attractive mixed Japanese/western decor, a super-comfortable bed. I mainly just swim, but saw lots of other guests taking advantage of the area and equipment directly in front of the hotel to do other water sports. All quiet and peaceful, but conveniently on a low-key road that takes you wherever needed. There's a relaxed atmosphere in the downstairs dining/coffee/sitting room area as well.

The hotel provided a calm and peaceful atmosphere, ideal for relaxing after a long day. The room was exceptionally clean, spacious, and well-equipped with all the essentials. I especially appreciated the friendly and helpful staff, who made my stay comfortable and enjoyable.
