Susie, the host is very nice and good at English.She will tell you the history of this wonderful city. Also, she drove me to the JR Station when I could not get a taxi. The environment is nice and cozy, feel like being at home. I highly recommend this cozy home to you.

Great service, all staffs are very friendly and hospitable. The room and property are well maintained, very clean. Japanese Breakfast is very good, a set meal with grilled fish. The highlight is of course the Keiseki dinner on first night and Saga Beef shabu shabu on second night. It is highly recommended for guest at this Ryokan to have at least one dinner meal during the stay.

The traditional Japanese style room had a nice retro vibe, with a traditional low table and sliding doors separating the main room from the small one with the river view.
