The hotel is in the old monestary and the atmosphere is relaxing.There is a small reed room if you want to sit in silence. So amazing place near of everything. The view from the balcony was incredible. They clean the room every day. Breakfast was great, salty and sweet. The staff is very nice and friendly. AMAZING. This has been the best place I’ve stayed in Italy. Diego (the host) was incredibly polite and attentive. The room was beautiful, clean, spacious and very stylish. The garden simply beautiful. The day and night view of Assisi breathtaking.

This place is a great idea for those visiting Assisi! It’s fully renovated, extremely comfortable and clean! We were a group of 7 people and we were all very satisfied with our staying! Can’t help on mentioning Barbara, the host, she is a lovely person, and the recommendations she made were very important during our visit!

Holiday lets don’t have to be perfect for us to love them, but Casa Frate Elia is both loveable and perfect. It's located mere metres away from the stunning Basilica di San Francesco. This place of devotion and pilgrimage is also a monument to the art of the fresco. Make sure you plan for at least a couple of visits during your stay – the lower and upper basilicas are too much to take in on a single visit. The apartment is fresh, comfortable and roomy, with a great sofa, fully equipped kitchen, plus good wi-fi and wonderful street and country views. The inclusion of a traditional moka stove-top coffee pot is a nice touch. Having a washing machine is always a big bonus for us when we're travelling. For arrival and departure, it’s very close to the bus station, where you can also get taxis. Our remote host, Marco, was very helpful and charming. Casa Frate Elia is truly exceptional and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it and to stay here again in marvellous Assisi.

    Lovely setting with facilities which could not used due to the cold weather. Much parking availability. Friendly and effective staff all around. Rooms very clean . Wifi was good. Breakfast was excellent and generous. In house Dining was also tops.

    We selected this place, because it was in good reach from Assisi and the airport. Also we could arrange from here other visits of the surrounding cities. The staff was really kind and the outside of the place gorgeous, with pleanty of free parking places secured by the properties big fences.
