What a hidden Gem! We found this place by accident as we had wrongly booked our nights and what an awesome mistake to make as we found Hero’s Garden. Located only 20mins outside the centre of Rome, this place is an Oasis settled in the countryside. Birds singing and the sound of nature all around. Roberta is such a lovely host. Gave us great recommendations of where to eat in Roma, was attentive and helpful and very friendly and welcoming. We had Lunch and Breakfast here and the food was home cooked and tasty. I wish we found this place earlier and had based ourselves here for longer.

Comfortable, clean place in Rome with all necessary you need for several days to stay, the key handover and return very easy, Quiet location to rest after all day walking around sightseeings. Good connection into downtown (close to road and rail). Pleasant communication with the owners. If free within my next visit, I want to choose again.

We were totally welcomed and felt very relaxed. Our host was very attentive. The ambience of the outside area and our room was warm and comfortable. We were provided with everything we needed and helped with recomodation and advice with directions. The breakfast was generous, and the hot moka coffee appreciated. We arrived tired and blistered and left refreshed. We continued straight onto Via Francigena, though we would have liked to stay longer.

    The location and view was superb. We drove our car to the train station 5 minutes away with free parking and hopped on a train to Rome to see all the sites. It was such a treat to come back to this peaceful property with a comfy bed after a busy day being a tourist in Rome.
