There was a small supermarket within 200m and reserved parking close nearby We explored a side valley above Aosta to Bionaz and the dam at La Lechere (driving upto the snow line at 6000ft ). We had a lovely (cold) walk beside the lake. to a - seeing alpine flowers ( lilies and crocii) and mountain choughs. It had a well equipped kitchen including a microwave and kettle.
