Breakfast was spectacular! Wonderful variety and excellent quality. Loved the artifacts displayed throughout the building, like a museum. Enjoyed using the common space for our own family gathering. Also good extra space in room and bathroom.

First time staying in hostel, wasnt sure how all works regarding shared things,information was provided yes and all read. Very happy that you still had your personal little house and toilet. Location was perfect ,stayed one night and very affordable,if needed would definetely come back.

Definitely a memorable experience and would even dare to say, a mandatory stop on your Icelandic roadtrip. Not only was the breakfast the best food we had in Iceland with a great variety of fresh dishes, the location of the hotel is unique (our room had a view to the lush green mountains that are incredibly scenic), the staff was extremely kind and attentive (with a special shout out to the Portuguese gentleman) and facilities makes you stay for a longer period of time (i.e., Spa, thermal baths, ice showers and relaxation rooms overlooking the glaciers and giving an great sense of calmness and relaxation). The cottage was super nice. The pick-up was easy at the reception of the guesthouse (and there was the possibility to get dinner and breakfast there as well). The location was great. Quiet with a great view of a waterfall/the mountains and just 10 minutes drive away from the Glaciar Lagoon and Diamond Beach.

It was exceptional. The view was stunning, the bed was extremely comfy, the room was clean, check in was smooth. Waking up to the view was refreshing, the interior design looks great as well. Enjoyed every second there.
