Everything! The place was perfect - well stocked with all you can think about, and more! It was such a pity we were only there for one night. The room was modern and comfortable with a luxurious feel, the hotel was very quiet when I visited so very peaceful and the hot tub was always free. Beautiful setting up in the mountain looking over the water and town below. On a clear night I could see the northern lights very well from right outside, although they’re easy to miss if you’re looking for green lights.. they actually look more like clouds until you look through a camera! The hotel is a 45 min walk from the Forrest lagoon (highly recommended and also the burger van in the car park!) and a 1.5 hour walk from Akureyri centre, it’s a beautiful walk if you’re able, plus I saw seals and a humpback whale en route. I really enjoyed my stay here, really good value for money and I would deffo recommend.
