Perched high on a hill at the top of Darjeeling, Cedar Inn is a charming high-end heritage style hotel with amazing views of the town and mountains. Staff are professional, knowledgeable, genuinely caring, and friendly and will customise their service to meet7th your needs. The rooms are spotlessly clean, warm, comfortable, and hot water is plentiful. Food is available via room service or in the dining room and is tasty and varied . Highly recommended.

I stayed at Grand Casa for a day and honestly the stay was brilliant. If you’re looking for some peace and isolation, this is the place. The only thing is it’s a bit away from Mall Road, but trust me it’s totally worth it. They serve proper homely food and it was super tasty. I was lucky the weather was clear and I got the full view of Kanchenjunga right from the balcony. The room was also really spacious. Definitely a memorable stay.

The view was amazing. The stay was comfortable and the home clean. Many homestays didn't have parking facility as it is really hard to find any stays with parking but this homestay had and left us enjoying the scenery throughout our stay. Really grateful for the host, they were really friendly.

It has a perfect location, a beautiful and atmospheric building, and—most importantly—a warm and welcoming vibe that makes you feel right at home. During our 5-day-stay in Darjeeling, my wife and I were looking for a budget-friendly accomodation that offers everything we need. With Asraya Homestay, we got much more than that. The owner is extremely polite, attentive and caring, while also being very professional and respectful of the guests wishes. The homestay is very new, and accordingly the rooms are freshly renovated, clean and modern. We considered the bathroom with its modern, fresh look and state-of-the-art appliances and the balcony with its amazing view the highlights of the room - and you get all that without putting a big dent in your wallet. All in all, we were very pleased with the room. The only thing that we considered a smal downside was that the temperature in the room was a bit low - a heater is offered for a small daily fee. The hospitality of the host family is unparalalled- they are welcoming in a very warm way while also being open to deeper topics and discussions. What was most amazing to us is that if we needed anything at all, the host, Vicky, was more than happy to help us out with tips or by referring us to the right people. His connections to all kinds of different people as well as his in-depth local knowledge about Darjeeling really shines through here. Their homecooked, organic food is very tasty and was pleasing to our western stomachs due to not being spicy, which is rare to find in India. +A small kitten came to visit every morning :) Also, a big thank you to Sahil and Pratik, who are super humble, friendly and always ready to help. If we ever come to Darjeeling again, we will without a doubt choose Asraya homestays again.

This is the best budget option in Darjeeling. The location is great if you want to cover various tourist spots by foot in a short time. The room is super clean, comfortable and with great views. They also have a cool roof top place where i didnt get to spend time. But will definitely come back
