Fanstastic food, Very friendly service, we felt part of the family. Suresh went above and beyond to make sure we could enjoy our stay on the island. He took us by motorbike, organised a sunrise canoe ride, kayaks and bikes for us as well as a visit to a thread making factory and rickshaws to the train station. When my son left his wallet in the room he organised a courier to have it sent on to our next destination.

This Homestay is truly unique and highly recommended. The family and staff are helpful and kind. Sunaina took the time to explain things and chat with us, which gave us a personal experience. The food both for breakfast and dinner was very nice. We especially enjoyed the amazing views during meals, the hammocks to rest in and the general vibe of the place. Munroe Island is a good place to rest, but also to explore without being overwhelmed. There is a boat taxi to the other side right next to the Homestay.

My stay at this homestay on Munroe Island was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment | arrived, I was welcomed with genuine warmth and hospitality. The highlight of the experience was undoubtedly the host, Appu. Appu went above and beyond to make sure every part of my stay was comfortable and enriching.
