We had a wonderful two-night stay at Rajbari Bawali and were truly mesmerized by its grandeur and heritage charm. The property is breathtaking, with its regal architecture and serene ambiance transporting us back in time. The food was delightful, and the facilities exceeded our expectations. A special mention to Kunal Parui, a young and dedicated restaurant staff member, who took exceptional care of us. His sincerity and warmth made our stay even more special. He not only attended to all our needs but also shared fascinating stories about the history of the Rajbari, adding to the experience. We absolutely loved our time here and are already looking forward to returning. Highly recommended for those who appreciate history, luxury, and impeccable hospitality!

I loved Calcutta Bungalow. It is a unque property in Kolkata and in my opinion it deserves 4* within the category of boutique hotels. - Uniqueness: Since you enter the property you feel good. The decoration is very nice and full of antiquities. The property is very well maintained and clean. - Staff: The hotel manager, Mr Mohammed Ayub Khan is very elegant and attentive. He showed me property and told me about its history and how they got all the nice furniture. He made sure at all times that I got assisted and he treats his employees well. - Comfort and cleaning: the rooms are very spacious and very clean. They all have a massive smart TV and all the necessary electricity converters that an international traveler needs. The bed was very comfortable and my room was not noisy (I actually heard birds in the morning). The design of each room is unique. - breakfast: it is served in the terrace upstairs and it was really good with both continental and local options. Room service is also good - contact: you can contact them via WhatsApp for anything you need. Very efficient

Facilities were great. Much storage room. Everything clean and shining. Staff very nice and attentive. Laundry Service plus ironing within 24 hours ( for 1000 inr). AC , Fan and Air purifyer working, WIFI without disturbance. Hotel owner was very kind and per WhatsApp always eager to help out. Breakfast was nice. Besides Omelette Sandwiches, (and bananas , Cornflakes , Müsli) there was every day another south Indian dish available. As i dont know south Indian Cuisine it was nice to try. You will get a Code for outside door and your room, so entering is easy. Iam from Germany and i know Kolkata very well. This hotel is actually a big flat in a very nice area in Kolkata. So its Not that anonymus as in other hotels.What i appreciated very much is that you have Peace and quiet there, no horn or the noise of the street and its a safe place also for single women. Downstairs is a guard watching the House. If you Like you can get your room cleaned everyday, for me that was not necessary .You will get all needed information ahead. There was a big TV and Sound System which i did Not use.I was lucky to find this place and think its a Jewel to stay comfortably in Kolkata. Next time i will book again there.

It is a new hostel so most of their arrangements are still in progress. Overall the experience was pleasant. Right near metro station is probably the biggest plus of this hostel. Staffs were very helpful and went beyond their way to help me at 3am. Rooms are basic but it's a budget hostel so it did not really matter. Totally recommended if you are exploring Kolkata. Oh and one more thing: The hostel is very very clean!

From the moment we arrived we received outstanding care from the on-site concierge. Nothing was too much trouble - from house cleaning to laundry and help with the local food delivery services. The apartment itself is spotless and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. AC in every room, kitchen with fridge, kettle and microwave and a water filter which meant that we did not have to buy bottled water. Beds were extremely comfortable and the roof terrace was a bonus extra space to hang out in the evenings. WiFi was excellent. The location was great. You could get a cab directly to the door and it is walking distance to Ballygunge train station, a local supermarket, Gariathat and many restaurants and coffee houses. Would highly recommend!
