If you come to Kerela cottage, you’ll notices that you have find a gem between pebbles. This place is located right at the beach with a beautiful seaside view. After arriving you’ll instantly feel more relaxed due to its set-up, the natural surroundings and the personal welcoming you. Compared with the other cottage’s placed along the coastline, this one is really peaceful and quiet. No tourists passing by in this part of town. The place is well located and you’ll be at famous Varkala beach in about twenty minutes of a walk. The boutiques and shops are also nearby. If walking doesn’t suit you, the personal is happy to arrange a rig shaw for you. If you need anything at all, the personal will be there. Wether it is to arrange transport, activities, house cleaning or food. They will take care of it. They are very polite and they will make sure you’ll have the best experience while staying at the Kerela cottage. The cottages themselves are very well maintained, it’s very clean, the furniture is durable and the set up is very cozy. It has all facilities you need to make your stay comfortable. Breakfast in the morning, is also delightful start of they day. With seaside view, awesome food and top service. I would rate the place and it’s personal the highest grade. If you stayed over you understand why it has such a high rating.

Super nice! Very cozy and comfortable guesthouse, well-located away from the busy cliff tourist area (but still within walking distance). Our room was spacious, and the bed quality was excellent. The guesthouse is quiet and located just 1 minute away from the beach in a charming garden. Food is available, and laundry service is provided. We absolutely loved our stay and will definitely come back if we return to Varkala!

This hotel is located on a stunning beach, offering breathtaking views, especially from the second floor—truly magical! The manager was incredibly helpful, going above and beyond to accommodate every request we had. Breakfast was great, and we loved that we could request exactly what we wanted to eat. Our room was spacious with beautiful terrace to relax. The house and facilities are new, very clean and well maintained. Location is quiet, just one minute walk to the nice Odayam beach. Several decent restaurants nearby. We could choose breakfast in Blue Water Resort or home made keralas breakfast on the terrace. Faizal and his family are great hosts always ready to help onsite or via WatsApp.

The rooms are very pretty - best room and bathroom we had in India. The hosts and staff are really nice. They help you with everything you need. There is a good breakfast with fruit salad, juice, curry & omlette available. The location is also quite nice. From the homestay it just takes a two minute walk to Edava Beach (not crowded and clean). It is possible to rent Scooters if you want to go to Varkala - round about 10min ride (we rented one for the whole week and needed it everyday to go out for dinner and coffee or to go to Varkala).
