Mountain View homestay felt like a little safe sanctuary - a calm space to base yourself while exploring and enjoying all the wonderful things in Kumily or equally to just relax and recuperate after months of travel. We felt so welcomed and at home we didn’t want to leave. The wonderful hosts will help organise various activities or answer any questions. We did yoga on the rooftop with Sophie which was lovely. It’s really a special place to visit

The room was very good with a wooden finish making it a more traditional Kerala style house. Mainly, Mr.Lawrence was very helpful, he is more than a host. He provides all the suggestions about places to go and things to do. I highly recommend this place!

Superb home stay. Embedded in forest nature. Fantastic house with well designed rooms, having huge windows fronting just nature. Well equipped and super clean. Very good breakfast, adapted to your taste upon request. We did not have the chance to eat dinner, but we got a very good review from other guests. The owners are not only very efficient and kind, but very special persons as well. Our best stay in Kerala, among several four stars luxury resorts. Fantastic treck starting at the hotel. Ask the stuff. Highly recommended

Sunila and her husband are THE most lovely people! They organised a fantastic early morning Periyar bird tour, a trip to Abaraham's Spice Garden and an evening watching the martial arts show for us. Sunila even provided us with a lovely egg curry on the night we arrived. I wish them all the best with their Homestay, they really deserve it!

The place is remarkable. The views are incredible. The room is simply beautiful . The food in the restaurant is superb, and the staff are so nice that there are not enough words to describe them. We must recommend Prakash from the reception and Ram, one of the best Sheff in the world that was doing everything he could to cook for us amazing food and not spicy. If we come again to amazing cerala we'll definitely come again to this hotel. Thanks a lot for a wonderful time. Most recommended.

We can really recommend this accommodation. The room was clean and nice. And the terrace outside with all the flowers and hammock chair was wonderful. The hosts are very nice and accommodating.

The location was beautiful - right in the forest and so close to the wildlife reserve. The room was clean and tidy and the staff went above and beyond organising a tour for me in the reserve and ensuring everything went smoothly. So helpful and very nice people. I would definitely recommend staying here if in the area, wanting to be in nature and close to the wildlife reserve.
