The hotel looked very good on the web site and to my pleasant surprise and unlike in many other cases, really matched the expectations. The hotel is located in a small village overlooking the amazing views of the dead sea, the Judea desert and the city of Jericho. The rooms are spacious , elegantly decorated , very well equipped and comfortable , especially the beds The weather was very hot (middle of august at the dead sea valley, but the air conditioning was excellent in all the rooms . At night though , it is cooler ,and you can relax at the 'chill out" rooftop of the hotel where you can have cold beer or wine and enjoy the breeze , the quietness of the desert and it's starry sky. One of the best things was the warm and caring hospitality of the hosts -VERED and her family whom always tried to anticipate our needs and were very eager to give precious information and tips with regards to travelling at the area. Try to get her husband to get you on a tour at the area. Not sure about the price but he was amazing and very knowledgeable and . can take you to all the special and secret jams of the area. Last but not list to mention is the family's restaurant called THE CHANCE- a very good and affordable kosher dinner that is situated close to the LIDO junction and serves a delicious home -made food. ALL TOGETHER A VERY GOOD EXPERIENCE , THAT GIVES YOU A VERY GOOD VALUE FOR MONEY!!

It was fantastic. Mike is a wonderful person who takes care of everything. He manages the house perfectly, which is of unmatched charm and comfort in the area, and even in the world! I adore his perspective on things and his way of doing things, it's extremely pleasant and friendly. It feels like being in a small community.

I don't often leave reviews, but this one's a must. The place is really very nice, all the comforts you'd want in a charmingly restored house in the German Colony. The rooms are larger than we expected, and very comfortable. The 20-minute walk to the Old City goes through a lovely series of gardens, and there are plenty of good restaurants nearby. However, what's most remarkable about this place is the owners: Alon and Rav treated us like family. It was really like staying with caring friends (who never get tired of having you around!). The breakfasts were great, and Alon was always ready with tourism advice, restaurants tips, and historic information. We were going to Jordan, and he hooked me up with his brother, who just returned from there and gave us lots of pointers. And we forgot something there, which he made sure got to his sister's place in Tel Aviv, where we picked it up a couple of days later. C'mon! Where else do you get family-style service like that?! Stay at the Templer Inn if you're going to Jerusalem!

Pauline and her husband were extremely helpful and accommodating with border closures and delays always enquiring about my safe passage Management and staff went out of their way to assist in every way possible - truly an extraordinary boutique hotel Location just a few minutes from the Damascus Gates and old city next to markets cafes book shops bus station - everything at hand. Free breakfast with a huge spread of local delicacies and European cuisine. Fresh fruit and local sweets Dinner was superb - a local Palestinian dish with Palestinian salmon Palestinian wine and Palestinian olives. Exquisite.

absolutely fantastic and exceptional place. One of the best boutique hotels I have ever visited. The staff of the hotel is kind helpful and I would like to mention especially the reception manager Doodi that was kind and went beyond the call of duty to help us. The rooms are large clean and very very comfortable. Breakfast is freshly laid daily and is exceptional. The area around his quaint and if you need to have breakfast or dinner you can find many nice small restaurants and brasseries.
