We liked the historic charm of the house and property. Breakfast was delicious. The eggs were fluffy and perfectly prepared and the french pressed coffee was excellent. We enjoyed talking with the staff. They had good knowledge of the area and history.

It was in an idyllic country location. The personal touch by the host and hostess were especially welcomed. There was ample space for a couple. They supplied us with coffee and milk and nibbles. We felt very welcomed.

First, let me say that it is hard to please everyone but the Bothy makes an attempt. The place was clean and comfortable. We had a family of four and everyone was impressed. We made breakfast before we left and the kitchen had all the amenities you would expect. But wait, is that a Keurig on the counter? Yes it is and yes I had delicious coffee before we got back on the road. Upon arrival the host met us at the door to make sure we were taken care of and afterwards we were left alone to enjoy our stay. Now, there was one thing that really surprised me. I forget to pack my Q-tips but by the sink was a little bathroom pack with Q-tips. I stayed at high-end hotels back in the states and never remember Q-tips being supplied. The Bothy is a great place to stay.
