The Driftwood is a heavenly place with lovely decorated rooms, the most comfortable beds and a stunning view. We had great breakfasts and tasty dinners in the restaurant, accompanied by a nice wine selection. All the people working there were super friendly. Good instructions for finding it, and hostess Ann there to meet us She had an extremely generous welcome pack, including delicious homemade sandwiches. The semi detached accommodation is furnished to a very high standard with a good, spacious kitchen and a good bathroom. It is situated semi rurally, with a small town nearby to buy necessities, and Sligo is an easy 10-15 minute drive. Very handy for the Yeats trail, and some of Ireland’s impressive pre- historic monuments. Hard frosts while we were there, so it was very scenic, but we were always warm. Our hosts were warm, friendly and helpful. Very highly recommended.
