Our stay was so charming its hard to describe. It was our first night in Ireland and Adare Country House was like staying with family, It was so quaint and friendly, welcoming, warm, so traditional too. The owners Dennis and Elaine (I think) were the cutest Irish couple you could hope to imagine, we even took photos with them. The breakfast was hand cooked and huge variety. I didn't want to leave. Beds in room so comfortable, everything clean and fresh with old school charm. This is a fabulous stop on the way between Dublin and the Ring of Kerry. Lots of parking and a block from the local Adare main road and the restaurants and pubs. A cute historical village, we LOVED it xo

Lovely family atmosphere and staff were very attentive to all needs. Loved the fact that the 3 children had proper single beds rather than sofa beds or sharing beds as in other hotels and all beds were very comfy.

I don't think I can quite put into words the experience I had staying with Jack. He is an amazing human, so hospitable and welcoming. You have to stay here and see for yourself how much of a brilliant man he is and how lovely his home is too. Plus the wonderful dogs! Thank you so much for welcoming us into your home.     Lovely comfortable bed, best sleep I've had in Ireland so far. Big room, good shower. Mary was very friendly and helpful. Good place for a one night stop away from the hustle and bustle of limerick. Easy parking.

    Ballycannon Lodge is a a purpose built facility conveniently located on the N21 adjacent to a garden centre containing a café/restaurant serving breakfasts and snacks. Our room was a good size and the beds very comfortable. Breakfast is served in the café in the adjacent (30m walk) garden centre (not included in the listed price) and was very tasty and good value. There is a very good selection of pubs and restaurants in nearby Adare, 7km along the N21, which is also worth exploring if time is available. Parking is safe and plentiful.
