Host was remarkably kind to start, readily accessible and offered to pick me up from the station. Warm heartedness like this was unparalleled in UK or rest of Europe in three weeks of travel. Next most beautiful aspect was the view of spectacular 58 metre tall Fire Tower (City Tower) with a lovely bell chime every hour. My temporary homely sweet abode contained all the comforts necessary for a short stay in Sopron. It was perfectly clean, smartly furnished, and with special touches. Washer complete with washing detergent there for use; iron and ironing board; plenty of coffee, milk, sugar; also chocolate/chocolate biscuit to enjoy; even a packet of cards for play. Best sleep in three weeks of travel.

    Lovely hotel and room was big with a king-size bed, table and 2 chairs also, a small sofa. The bathroom had a bath with a shower over, with a separate toilet by the room door. Food was delicious and very well made highly recommended, the cakes were freshly made and so delicious. Lots of free parking and secure.

The apartment has been renovated recently and is perfectly clean. Free parking right in front of the building is convenient.     The location is close to a park, about 15 minutes walk to the city center. Free parking on the strere, had no problem finding a spot in fron of the room window. The whole pension has 4 rooms, it is a family business. Big clean room, suitable for a family of 4. Towels and toileteries. Good breakfast options: the owner asked us about coffee / tea / cocoa / juice. Eggs (fried, omelett), frankfurters, cereals and milk, yogurt, butter, homemade jam (great), honey.
