The stay was incredible. The staff was very helpful, they all went out of their way to make our stay perfect. We had no problem during our stay in the hotel. The rooms were very clean, as well as common areas of the hotel. The location is great, the area is very quiet, but it's close to the city centre, the beach is across the street, a lot of great waterfront restaurants are nearby. The breakfast in the hotel was great, the food was diverse, fresh and very tasty. The staff helped us with everything, arranged a lot of things for us, we didn't worry about anything there. In general, the experience in this hotel was amazing, we were very pleased with staff, and it definitely exceeded our expectations.

The hotel is located in a Venetian house (probably 500 years old) in the heart of the old town. Recently renovated to a very high standard, it combines modern amenities with old, beautiful walls. Despite its central location, the square by the mosque turned out to be quiet at night. Very polite staff. Highly recommended.
 Driving into the narrow streets of the old town is, of course, impossible, so parking is available at a nearby city parking lot by the large square. A few minutes' walk is not an issue. Parking is covered by the hotel. We received precise instructions. Around 5 PM, we parked without any problems, but in the morning, we saw a long line of cars trying to get in. I think they could have waited up to an hour.

I work in the hospitality and luxury industry and I was really surprised to find this kind of hospitality and this quality of service in your place. I appreciate all the detals founded in your room, it’s very personnalized. (Until the embroidery on the sheets, and towels) and thanks for the equipments and the good bedding!! Clean spacious apartment with everything we needed. Communication with the host was great and we were able to get an early check in, which was appreciated. The bus station and old town were both easily accessible by a 10-15min walk and there was a supermarket close by for supplies.

Calla is a new place, fantastically designed and furnished, they serve great breakfast. It is next to the beach (with its own sunbeds and umbrellas for the guests) and with the beautiful sea view. The old part of the town is in the walking distance. But that what makes Calla to really stand out are its owners, who are attuned to your every need and wish, knowledgeable about the whole island and everything it has to offer, and last but not least the staff, which is absolutely amazing, friendly and always at your service.

Eleven is a lovely little hotel in Stavromenos, about 10-15 minutes drive from Rethymno. I loved the pool, spacious room, view from the room, tasty breakfast and the staff. Everything seemed to be new, rooms were cleaned and towels changed daily. It is a bit far from everything so car is recommended but this worked great for us as we wanted to spend our vacation in a quiet spot anyway. All in all, a wonderful experience.
